“Very touristy. A concert mill. Overpriced. The room was way too hot. Uncomfortable. Most pieces were very technical. They did show off a considerable, technical professional skill of the pianist but were boring. The concert missed the most beautiful, melodic pieces by Chopin for which he is famous. The concert was topped by three pieces by other composers. Why??? We paid over $60 to listen to CHOPIN. The other composers pieces were not very interesting at all, and the final Fuge from 1953 was boring. The repertoire choice was poor. "The wine" included in the premium concert price during a short break was a pathetic, microscopic glass of cheap bubbly.…”
