“Getting around the city by bicycle is an excellent way of getting to know the lie of the land and which parts to return to. The guide did an excellent job of explaining the history and how each area we visited came into being. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Krakow as a destination. Please make sure you are a proficient cyclist. The cycling is not strenuous at all but you need to keep your wits about you when sharing the road with cars and pedestrians. The route we took was mostly on quiet roads or cycle paths.”
